2 Men Shot In Quincy Suffer Serious Injuries

A 40-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were hospitalized with serious injuries after being shot on Rodman Street in Quincy.

QUINCY, MA — Two people were shot Wednesday morning and were hospitalized with serious injuries, according police. Just before 2 a.m., police were called to a house on Rodman Street and found a 40-year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds to his body and a 24-year-old man with a wounded leg, according to WHDH.

Paramedics rushed the two men to Boston Medical Center, where the 40-year-old man was undergoing surgery. Police said both men were in serious condition.

Police told the Patriot Ledger the scene was chaotic upon arrival. There was at least eight other people present, shell casings throughout the area and bullet holes in a side door to the house. Police said the shooting doesn't appear to be random and is still under investigation.
