4 Bruins Fans Indicted After Post Game MBTA Beating: Police

The men, dressed in Bruins garb, beat two men at North Quincy Station, following Boston's game 1 victory versus the Hurricanes, police said.

QUINCY, MA — Four apparent Bruins fans were indicted in Norfolk Superior Court Wednesday after MBTA police said the fans beat two men at North Quincy station, following Boston's win against the Carolina Hurricanes in game one of the Eastern Conference Finals. Stiles Bezema, 21, of Wrentham; Antonio Green, 31, of Feeding Hills; John Pritoni, 29, of Norfolk; and Thomas Pritoni, 23, of Norfolk, were arrested a week later and charged with aggravated assault and battery resulting in serious injuries.

According to transit police, one of the beatings left a man with facial bone fractures. Police said the other man the four men beat suffered a concussion, the Patriot Ledger reported. Police originally looked for five suspects, show in photos and surveillance video of one of the attacks, but one of the men, who wasn't involved with the fight, turned his friends in, according to police.

The four men's indictments transfer the case from Quincy District Court to Norfolk Superior Court, where defendants can face longer sentences if convicted.
