• Massachusetts High Court Blocks Quincy from Installing Statues of Catholic Saints on Public Safety Building (newbedfordguide.com) — Quincy's plan to place two large Catholic saint statues outside the new public safety headquarters has been blocked by Massachusetts' highest court, which says the display likely violates state rules on religious neutrality. The materials, housed in NFPA's Research Library, compile research, photos, and reports that influenced building codes and evacuation procedures used nationwide today.
