• Quincy Eyes Improvements At Squaw Rock Park (thequincysun.com) — Quincy officials and more than 150 residents are weighing major changes at Squaw Rock Park in Squantum, including a new Massachusett Tribe community center, expanded parking, and a 12-foot bronze statue. The discussion also raised concerns about losing the Mollie Hirschberg Early Learning Center space, underage drinking at the park, and the need for better communication and a true master plan.
   

• USSOCOM Awards Boeing $55M MH-47G Helicopter Order (clearancejobs.com) — General Dynamics Mission Systems in Quincy has secured a $15.1 million Navy contract option to advance an unmanned submarine asset, with work at the local facility running through February 2028. While part of a larger bundle of Pentagon awards, this deal means sustained high-tech defense work and federal investment flowing directly into Quincy's industrial waterfront and its specialized engineering jobs.
