QUINCY, MA — Life for pet owners in Quincy just got a little easier.
On Friday, the city launched a new Facebook page called Quincy Animal Control and Care Center. The page was created to provide pet owners with access to a variety of resources.
Residents can now use the page to find information about lost and found pets, educational programs, community resources, wildlife and the Pet Food Pantry. The city is also working to add more resources in the future.
Over the next few weeks, animal control officers and building managers will be introduced to the community. Residents will learn more about their backgrounds, responsibilities and how they can help those with questions or concerns.
With more additions planned, the city hopes the page will become a valuable resource for residents seeking information or assistance with animal-related matters.
