QUINCY, MA — Three local bands will take center stage in Quincy later this month as the city prepares for an afternoon of live music, food and entertainment.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, Meet Me @ Kilroy will take over Kilroy Square, located at 25 Cottage Ave. Starting at 3 p.m., attendees can enjoy live performances from local musicians.
Kicking off the festivities will be Jookie, billed as the nation's premier Green Day tribute show. Once they wrap up, the Foo Fightaz will take center stage from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. Rounding out the lineup will be Overserved Again, bringing a taste of country music to downtown Quincy.
The fun doesn't stop with the music. Local food vendors will also be on hand, giving attendees a chance to sample some of the flavors Quincy has to offer.
Homemade treats will also be available for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth.
The event is free and open to the public.
