QUINCY, MA — With the holiday season approaching, QCAP's South West Community Food Center is calling on Quincy residents to help make the holidays brighter for local families in need.
The center is seeking gift donations for children ages 12 and younger. A holiday gift wish list is available to help residents find the perfect present, but donations of items not on the list are also welcome.
The giving doesn't stop with gifts.
The center is also accepting food donations to help ensure local families have meals on the table this holiday season. Residents can contribute food for holiday meals or high-demand pantry essentials.
Whether donating individually or gathering friends, family and coworkers for a group effort, residents have an opportunity to spread holiday cheer and make a difference in their community.
All donations can be dropped off at the South West Community Food Center, located at 18 Copeland St.
Gift distribution begins Dec. 14 and continues through Dec. 21.
