Body Found Under Box Truck In Quincy Identified
The man was not crushed or trapped by the box truck; he was just under it and was likely dead for several days, fire officials said.
QUINCY, MA — Police have identified the man who was found dead Wednesday under a box truck on Newbury Street.
Donald Ronan, 62, was found a little before 1 p.m. Police told WFXT a woman found the body under a box truck after leaving her house in the North Quincy neighborhood. There was a laceration on the man's head. Fire officials told the Patriot Ledger that Ronan likely died days ago.
Quincy Police told WFXT there were no signs of foul play, and the Norfolk District Attorney's office said they don't think anything suspicious happened. The man was not crushed or trapped by the box truck; he was just under it, Deputy Fire Chief Paul Griffith told the Patriot Ledger.
