U.S. Navy 250th Birthday Celebration Ceremony

The City of Quincy invites the public to a ceremony celebrating the 250th birthday of the United States Navy.

The program will feature:

• Remarks by LCDR Alicia Ping, U.S. Navy (Ret.), Partnership and Civic Engagement Liaison for the National Park Service, on the history of the U.S. Navy

• Remarks by Robert Damon, City of Quincy Historic Heritage Director, on Quincy's local naval history

• A live performance by Navy Band Northeast’s Jack Tar Brass Band

Cake and refreshments will be served following the ceremony. This event is free, open to the public, and will be held rain or shine.
