QUINCY, MA — A dump truck fell through the roof of a parking garage at Furnace Brook Parkway near Copeland Street, according to police. Police evacuated the parking garage ,and no one was hurt, but about 50 people, who parked in the garage, may not be able to get their cars for a few days, according to Deputy Fire Chief Edward Fenby.
Quincy police Sgt. Karyn Barkas said the building inspector needs to clear the scene, get a building occupancy permit and a crane before emergency crews can remove the dump truck.
"It could take a day or two or possibly Friday before people can get their cars," Barkas said.

According to police, the truck ended up in the garage because of directions the GPS on the driver's phone gave him. Barkas said the crews hope to have the dump truck out of the garage by sometime tomorrow morning.
