Fire At Spear Street Apartment In Quincy

QUINCY, MA — Firefighters are responding to a fire at an apartment building at 51 Spear Street.

Firefighter Damien Drella tweeted the one-and-a-half story apartment has a wooden frame, which is causing heavy smoke.

One resident of the Spear Street apartment told a Patriot Ledger Reporter outside that he doesn't believe anyone else living in the apartment is home. This was later confirmed by Quincy Police.

The fire happened on the the second floor of the apartment, Quincy Police said.
