Healey-Driscoll Administration To Help Quincy Launch Flu Clinic
The Healey-Driscoll administration is providing support for Quincy's annual flu clinic.
QUINCY, MA — Now that fall is in full swing, the city of Quincy is doing its part to keep residents safe. The city has launched its annual flu clinic and is getting help from the state.
On Monday, Massachusetts Health and Human Services Secretary Kiame Mahaniah and Public Health Commissioner Robbie Goldstein visited the Kennedy Senior Center, according to a news release from the governor’s office.
Along with local leaders, Mahaniah and Goldstein encouraged residents to get vaccinated this fall and thanked local health departments for their work to keep residents safe. Goldstein also administered vaccines to community members.

As part of the visit, public health leaders from Quincy held a discussion focused on vaccination trends.
They also discussed regional collaboration that is supported through the state’s Public Health Excellence Program.

During their visit, Goldstein and Mahaniah were joined by Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch, Braintree Mayor Erin Joyce and public health leaders from Braintree, Randolph and Holbrook.
