I-93 South Crash: 1 Killed

QUINCY, MA - A Rockland man has died following a crash on Intertstate 93 in Quincy.

At 9:20 a.m., state police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle on the soundbound side of the highway. A preliminary investigation indicates that a Honda Pilot collided in the second travel lane with a Harley Davidson Street Glide also traveling on the lane.

The operator of the motorcycle, Francis Correia, 26, of Rockland, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released his identity. The driver of the Pilot has been identified as a 54-year-old from Milton.

The crash is under investigation.
