Minor Injuries In Crash Near Quincy Line

A truck rear-ended a vehicle, which caused damage to another vehicle Tuesday morning.

BRAINTREE, MA – The travel on Interstate 93 South was slow Tuesday morning following a crash near the Quincy-Braintree line.

At 9:15 a.m., police responded to a crash involving a large tanker striking a smaller vehicle near the I-93/Route 3 split. The ramp to Quincy was closed for much of the morning as police cleaned up and investigated the crash.

The driver told the Patriot Ledger of one of the vehicles told police that he was struck by the truck just as he headed into a curve on exit 19. The truck rear-ended a Toyota, which damaged a Jeep.

Minor injuries were reported at the scene. No charges have been filed but the crash is under investigation.
