Missing Quincy Man Found Dead

QUINCY, MA — A Quincy man reported missing three weeks ago was found dead. Police said a witness found the body around 4 p.m., Tuesday near the the Water Street bridge. Police identified the man as Michael Stuart, 63, and said the death doesn't appear to be suspicious.

"He had been there a while," Sgt. Karyn Barkas told Patch.

Stuart was reported missing on July 4. Police said he was last seen around 5 p.m., July 3 when he left his house to go to Pat's Mini Mart on Water Street.
