One Injured in Crash on Quincy Avenue

QUINCY, MA — A portion of Quincy Avenue was closed at midday due to a car crash.

At 12:45 p.m., police responded to a crash near Quincy Credit Union. One person was transported to hospital. Quincy Avenue was closed from Water Street to Scammel Street until about 3:30 p.m.

Sgt. Karyn Barkas told the Patriot Ledger that a Buick on the road was struck by an Infiniti while taking a left turn. The crashed caused the Buick to flip and land on the ledge of a rock.

The crash is under investigation.
