QUINCY, MA — Who would steal a street sweeper and drive it up a highway? That's what State Police investigators are trying to figure out. Police received a report at about midday Easter Sunday that someone stole a street sweeper in Quincy and was heading up Interstate 93. State Police spokesman Dave Procopio <a href="https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2018/04/01/police-searching-for-suspect-who-stole-street-sweeper/x4WZJtMC5hoSFF886Q5TmJ/story.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">told the Boston Globe</a> that the sweeper was located in Medford and a state trooper driving in the area was forced to swerve out of the way after the sweeper drove toward the cruiser. The sweeper then went down I-93 South and was found abandoned on Exchange Street at 12:11 p.m. No arrests have been made and the theft remains under investigation. <hr />Image via Cambridge DPW
