Pregnant Woman Attacked In Quincy: Police

The suspects attacked the pregnant woman, punching her in the head and kicking her stomach while she was taking a walk, Quincy police said.

QUINCY, MA — Two Quincy men were arrested Tuesday after attacking a pregnant woman while she was walking along Washington Street, police said. Tyrese Johnson-Nurse, 19, and David Russell, 18, were charged with aggravated assault and battery on a pregnant woman and assault and battery.

Police told the Patriot Ledger the woman was Walking with her boyfriend around 6 p.m., and began vomiting. The suspects made fun of the woman and then punched her in the head, according to police. Police said Russell also kicked the woman in the stomach.

Johnson-Nurse and Russell are scheduled for a dangerousness hearing on Thursday.
