Propane Explosion Leads To Attic Fire

QUINCY, MA — A propane tank is being blamed for a fire that spread into the attic of a home in Squantum.

At about 6:10 p.m. Thursday, Quincy fire responded to a report of a propane tank explosion. The fire spead to the attic of a Middlesex Street home,according to the Patriot Ledger.

No injuries were reported and the family was able to make it out safely.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of the explosion.
