Quincy Apartment Fire Causes Almost $100,000 Damage
Fire officials estimated the eighth-floor apartment sustained $75,000 to $100,000 in damage.
QUINCY, MA — A fire Friday morning left ravaged through the kitchen of an eighth floor apartment causing tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage. The fire started around 7:45 a.m. at 1025 Hancock St.
Fire officials estimated the apartment sustained $75,000 to $100,000 worth of damage. A woman and her dog were the only ones inside during the single-alarm fire, but both got out safely, fire officials said. The fire didn't spread to any other apartment units.
Fire officials are still working to determine the exact cause of the fire.
