Quincy Center to Host Inaugural Food Truck & Music Festival
The festival will be headlined by the James Montgomery Band.

QUINCY, MA - From the City of Quincy: Bring the whole family - and a lawn chair and/or blanket - to Quincy Center this weekend for an afternoon of food, music and fun!
Thousand are expected to take part in the inaugural Quincy Food Truck & Music Festival that will be held in Quincy Center on Saturday, September 30th from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
Hosted by Mayor Thomas P. Koch, the festival will feature over 20 food trucks, a beer garden, lacrosse demonstrations, activities from the Boston Cannons and a variety of musical performances headlined by the James Montgomery Band. Montgomery has toured with major artists over the years including Aerosmith, Bonnie Raitt and Bruce Springsteen and has jammed on stage with the likes of B.B. King and Patti LaBelle. Other festival acts will include Trusty Sidekick, Liz Bills and more!

“The Food Truck & Music Festival is the type of cultural event that the community desires,” said Mayor Thomas Koch. “It’s a great opportunity to bring people together to enjoy a beautiful fall day in our historic and vibrant downtown, and is just steps from the Quincy Center MBTA station, making it accessible to all.”
Participating food trucks include GottaQ BBQ, Say Cheese, Montilio’s, Ben & Jerry’s, Teri-Yummy, Fenway Sausage Works, Jamaica Mi Hungry, Spicy Salaa, Tracy Girl Food Truck, Travelin’ Bones BBQ and many more! Guests who are 21+ can enjoy a beer garden with craft beers provided by the Pour Garden truck.

Admission to the event is FREE - though individual vendors will charge for food and drink. A portion of Coddington Street will be closed down for the festival, which will extend onto the front lawn of Quincy High School
