Quincy Fire: 3-Alarm Blaze Damages Home

Crews battled a fire at a two-family home on Hancock Street Wednesday night.

QUINCY, MA – A three-alarm fire broke out at a two-family home in Quincy Wednesday night, according to reports. The blaze started in the attic of 973-975 Hancock St., Deputy Fire Chief Jack Cadigan told the Patriot Ledger, sending flames through the roof and heat toward a nearby home.

Firefighters curbed the blaze before it spread to another home. Everyone inside made it out, the Patriot Ledger reported.

The Red Cross said it was responding to the scene to help the two families displaced.
