Quincy Fire: Trapped Child, Two Adults Saved From Two-Alarm Blaze

Firefighters are at the scene, according to reports.

QUINCY, MA – Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire on Norfolk Street Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 12:56 p.m., firefighter and police in Quincy responded to a report of a second-floor fire on Norfolk Street. At the scene, officers learned that a child was trapped inside the burning home. An 8-year-old was located on the first floor and saved by by Officer Parisi. The officer then went back inside the home and saved an elderly man in his 70s and a woman in his 50s, according to Quincy Police.

Quincy Fire was able to extinguish the blaze a short time later. No injuries were reported.
