Quincy Man Charged With Indecent Assault At MBTA Station

Police say Marc Dicarli attacked a woman at bus platform at the the Braintree MBTA station.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Quincy man faces charges after allegedly indecently assaulting a woman at the Braintree MBTA station, police said.

Marc Dicarli, 40, was arrested Saturday night and charged with indecent assault and battery and assault and battery, according to MBTA police.

At about 9:55 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault in progress at the Braintree MBTA station. When police arrived, the victim, a 24-year-old woman, told officers that while bending over to pick up an item she dropped on the bus platform, Dicarli indecently assaulted her from behind. The victim tried to push the suspect away and Dicarli temporarily stopped and walked away. He allegedly returned to the victim's location and physically assaulted her again, police said.

Dicarli was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody.
