Quincy Man Injured In NH ATV Crash
An 18-year-old Quincy man crashed his ATV down a 20-foot embankment and struck a tree in the woods of New Hampshire.
CLARKSVILLE, NH — An 18-year-old Quincy man was injured Saturday after crashing his ATV in the woods. Around 10:50 a.m., the man and his friend were driving on Deadwater Loop Road in Clarksville, New Hampshire, when he lost control on a sharp turn, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game Officials (NHFG). Officials said the man ended up 20 feet down a steep embankment and struck a tree.
The Quincy man's friend quickly went to his aid and called 911. He was taken to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook after suffering non life-threatening injuries.
According to NHFG officials, the early investigation indicates that the crash was caused by the Quincy man following too close behind another vehicle, and road dust kicking up, which worsened visibility.
