Two men from Hyde Park and Dorchester face charges.

From the Quincy Police Department:
On March 31, 2017 at about 6 a.m., the Quincy Police Drug Control Unit, along with the South Shore Drug Task Force assisted by Boston Police Drug Unit and Boston Police Youth Violence Strike Task Force, served a number of search and arrest warrants in the city of Boston. This investigation was initiated by the Quincy Police DCU and quickly spread to numerous communities on the South Shore where drugs were being delivered. The main base of operation was identified as originating from a number of private residences in Boston. The investigation continued until sufficient evidence was gathered to obtain the search and arrest warrants. The results produced the arrest of two individuals, the seizure of over 400 grams of Fentanyl, and two vehicles along with about $38,000 cash. This was a significant investigation with an outstanding outcome with the seizure of the potent drug fentanyl, a quantity of cash, seizure of vehicles and the disruption of drugs being distributed throughout South Shore Communities.
This was the collaborative efforts of the Quincy DCU, the Newly Re-formed South Shore Drug Task Force and the Boston Police Department.
