Quincy Police Identify Man Accused Of Robbing Store At Knifepoint

Police have identified a Lynn man as the suspect, accused of robbing a Quincy liquor store at knifepoint.

QUINCY, MA — Police have identified a suspect accused of robbing a a liquor store at knifepoint last month. Officers issued a warrant for the arrest of Elhalaby Souhail, 23, of Lynn, the masked man police said on April, held up Discount Liquors on Granite Street. Around 9:41 p.m.,Souhail while holding a large knife, walked in and told the workers, "Give me all the money," police said.

Store employees gave the Souhail an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before leaving and running up Granite Street towards Centre Street. Police said he possibly ran onto Town Hill Street. No injuries were reported.

Police described Souhail as about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing jeans, a black motorcycle-type jacket with a red emblem on the upper right sleeve and chest area, black and gray gloves, and black sneakers with white soles. The emblem on the upper right sleeve is red and white stripes with a red star. Video from the robbery can be found below:
