QUINCY, MA — For the second time in less than a month, police in Quincy are investigating a gas station robbery.

On February 21, 2017 at about 9:12 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Prestige Gas on Franklin Street. The cashier told police he was walking in the store from outside when a masked black male grabbed him and forced him to the floor at gunpoint in the rear of the store, police said. The cashier said the man held a gun to his head while another suspect watched the door.

The armed suspect then demanded the store keys from the cashier, police said. The suspects then observed customers approaching the front door and both fled the store on foot to an awaiting vehicle described as a dark color SUV with a partial MA plate 42K.
