Quincy Police Investigating Pedestrian Strike On Palmer Street

Quincy police said an elderly man is in critical condition after being hit Monday morning.

QUINCY, MA — An elderly man struck on Palmer Street in Quincy Monday morning remains in critical condition, according to Quincy police on Tuesday. Police said the 80-year-old man sustained serious injuries when he was hit in the area of 384 Palmer Street about 9 a.m. Monday morning.

Police said police, fire units and Brewster Ambulance responded within minutes of the call Monday morning. The victim was taken to an area hospital while the driver remained on scene.

The Quincy Police Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. Anyone who witnessed it or has information about it is asked to contact Quincy police at 617.745.5824.
