Police say a person put a rag in a gas tank and lit it on fire.

QUINCY, MA — Police in Quincy are trying to figure out who attempted to light a van on fire Thursday night.

Debbie Neenan told the Patriot Ledger that the person stuck a rag in the gas tank and lit it on fire. They found out at about 10 p.m. after a person knocked on her door and told her husband that their van was on fire.
