A Quincy teen faces charges after police at an MBTA station found a weapon on him.

BOSTON, MA — A Quincy teen faces charges after police at an MBTA station found a weapon on him.
On Feb. 22 at about 7 p.m., police at the Massachusetts Avenue station discovered a 17-year-old that entered the station without paying a fare. While issuing a citation, police noticed that the suspect was moving and behaving in a suspicious manner. A further investigation revealed that the teen allegedly possessed a .22 caliber semi automatic handgun with seven rounds in the magazine and one round chambered.
The teen faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. His name has not been released due to his age.
