Sanctuary City Talks Put On Hold
The city council has tabled the issue until March.

QUINCY, MA — The objections of one councilor means those who were expecting the Quincy City Council to discuss Councilor Nina Liang's proposal to make Quincy a sanctuary city will have to come back to City Hall another night.
As the discussion was about to begin, Councilor William Harris objected, halting the discussion before it could start. A councilor is allowed to object to a bill or resolution and it cannot be overridden, according to the Patriot Ledger.
After the meeting, Harris said he believed that more time is needed for research.
