Sea Street Reconstruction Public Meeting in Quincy

A public meeting on the Sea Street Construction will be held at 7 p.m. at Broad Meadows Middle School in Quincy on Thursday.

QUINCY, MA — A public meeting to discuss the reconstruction of the Sea Street Project will be held Thursday night at 7 at the Broad Meadows Middle School. The proposed reconstruction includes the installation of a 5-foot wide bike lane as well as sidewalk reconstruction and traffic light improvements.

This is an opportunity for the public to become more acquainted with the project and share written and verbal views on the project's proposals to the city and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. Plans will be on display one-half hour before the hearing begins, with an engineer in attendance to answer questions regarding this project. A project handout will be made available on the MassDOT website.

Written statements can be submitted to Patricia A. Leavenworth, P.E., Chief Engineer, MassDOT, 10 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116, Attention: Tom Currier, P.E., Roadway Project Management, Project File No. 608707. Submissions will also be accepted at the hearing. Mailed statements and exhibits intended for inclusion in the public hearing transcript must be postmarked within 10 business days of Thursday.
