Thieves Ran Elaborate Scheme At South Shore YMCA: Police
Police said the suspects put the keys back in people's YMCA lockers after breaking into their cars and stealing credit cards and more.
QUINCY, MA — Police are looking for three suspects they said conducted an elaborate theft scheme at the South Shore YMCA.
On Feb. 6, Two of the men broke into at least three lockers at the Coddington Street YMCA, according to police. Police said the men took car keys from the lockers, broke into the cars and stole credit cards and other valuables. The suspects then returned the keys to the lockers they were taken from, police said.
A third man, wearing a blue quarter-zip sweater, dark dress pants, and black dress shoes, was caught on security footage that same day at an apple store. Police said he used the stolen credit cards to buy cellphones at an Apple Store.

Police said they were called to the YMCA gain on Feb. 8 for a similar incident, but police have not confirmed this incident involves the same suspects.
