Wanted Quincy Man Allegedly Does Dumb Thing To Get Found
You should always pay your fare, especially if you are wanted on an active warrant.

BOSTON, MA — Why should you pay your fare for the train? Because if you don't, you'll be taken into custody if you are wanted by police.
That's the position a Quincy man found himself in Monday. At about 10:30 p.m., MBTA Transit Police officers were conducting fare evasion enforcement at South Station when they observed a man, later identified as 35-year-old David Tracy, allegedly enter through the Red Line fare gates without paying. Officers approached Tracy to issue a citation and subsequently discovered there was an active warrant out of Norfolk Superior Court warrant for his arrest for armed robbery, transit police said.
Tracy was placed into custody. During the booking process, police learned that Tracy had previously been cited for fare evasion.
