WATCH: Quincy Police Searching For Suspect In Knife-Point Robbery

QUINCY, MA — Police in Quincy are asking for the public's help with locating a man who robbed a woman at the Wollaston Red Line station at knife-point.

On Aug. 3, officers responded to Willet Street on a report of a female screaming in the caller's yard. Officers arrived on scene learned the victim had just left the train station station and began to walk towards Willet St. As she walked on Willet, she observed a male following her. When she became scared and ran up the stairs of a residence on Willet Street in an attempt to get help, the suspect grabbed the victim, threw her on the ground, pointed a knife at her and stole her hand bag, police said

A canine track was unsuccessful in locating the suspect.

Detectives have obtain some video footage of the suspect. He is seen on video coming from the area of Berlin Street. After he entered the station, he waited Woodbine Street side of the station until passengers exit. It does not appear that he was ever on the train.
