Wollaston T Station to Close for 20 Months
Trains will not stop at the station during the shutdown. Bus service will run from Wollaston to North Quincy.
QUINCY, MA — The Wollaston T Stop will be closed for 20 months during construction, transit officials said during Monday night's Quincy City Council meeting
Trains will not stop at the station during the shutdown, expected to start sometime in the fall. Bus service will run from Wollaston to North Quincy.
Wollaston will be upgraded during its closure, making it fully accessible and helping with the flow of humanity going in and out. Construction will last into 2020, the Boston Globe reported.

Other Red Line work:
- The closed parking garage at Quincy Center will be demolished to make way for an undetermined development.
- A $42 million rehabilitation at the Quincy Adams parking garage.
- A $31 million rehabilitation of the Braintree Station.
