Woman Indicted After Fatally Stabbing Husband In Quincy: DA
A Boston woman was indicted in Superior Court after stabbing her husband to death on the Fourth of July, prosecutors said.
QUINCY, MA — A Boston woman accused of fatally stabbing her husband on the Fourth of July was indicted by Norfolk County grand jury Thursday. Huixian Lu, 46, was charged with armed assault with in intent to murder and will face a manslaughter charge at her arraignment Thursday, Oct. 3. She pleaded not guilty to the armed assault charge at her arraignment in Quincy District Court last July,
Shortly before 7 p.m., officers were called to the 10th block of South Central Avenue after Lu's husband, Biqiang He, 55, was stabbed, according to police.
He was rushed to Quincy Medical Center before being taken to Boston Medical Center for surgery. He succumbed to his injuries three days later.

Since Lu's arraignment in Quincy District Court, she has been held without bail. The indictment transfers the case to Norfolk Superior Court, where defendants can face longer sentences if convicted.
