  • Windkist Equestrian Centre, North Andover (off Haverhill Street). The center offers a summer-camp program for any rider, beginning through experienced. This camp starts at age 6, but Windkist Farm offers private lessons starting at age 2, depending on the maturity of your child, Barnes-Felix said.
  • Burbank YMCA, Reading. The Burbank YMCA offers a variety of day camps for ages 2.9 to 16 years old. Register before April 1 and receive free pre- and post-care.
