The price is up three cents over last week, to $3.47 per gallon. The cheapest gallon of self-serve regular in North Reading as of Monday afternoon was $3.46 at Stop & Shop, according to AAA.
5. Big Bad Bruin: On this date in 1970, Bobby Orr became the first defenseman in the history of the NHL to score 100 points in a single season. Orr finished the 1969-1970 season with 120 points, making him one of the best offensive defenders in NHL history.
