By Barry ThompsonA missive from the Wakefield Police Department says <a href="http://www.wakefieldpd.org/sites/wakefieldmapd/files/file/file/0413_press_release.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">calamity ensued</a> at the Quick and Clean Car Wash Monday afternoon when an 82-year-old Reading man got stuck under his 2003 Cadillac.It appears the man was checking on his front tires when the vehicle unexpectedly backed up onto his leg, rendering him both injured and trapped.Several 9-1-1 calls were made about the incident, and emergency workers arrived on the scene shortly after 2:39 p.m.Once he was freed, the victim was transported via Med Flight to a Boston hospital.The incident is still being investigated.
