If you have teenagers that are juniors or seniors in high school they most likely will be heading to prom soon. Especially if you have a daughter, there are a lot of items on the to do list. From the kids' perspective, there are a lot of things to worry about too. One of them is where they will go after prom. If you are planning on hosting, make sure you have enough insurance coverage.
First, make sure to make it very known to attendants there is no drinking allowed. Just in case they go against your wishes, it may be a good idea to have everyone stay the evening and to take their keys. It is always best to be safe now rather than sorry later. If kids were to leave your home and get into a drunk driving accident it would be a huge liability for you.
Also, it’s important to make sure you have enough liability coverage on your Massachusetts Home Insurance. If you’re concerned about having enough coverage, you should also ask an agent about a Massachusetts Umbrella Insurance policy. Extra liability coverage is more affordable than you would probably think!
