The man involved in Saturday's fatal officer-involved <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/reading/reading-officer-involved-shooting-reports">shooting</a> has been identified as Alan Greenough, 43, of Reading. Patch received and posted an obituary for <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/reading/alan-greenough-43-passes-away-unexpectedly-saturday">Greenough</a> on Wed., Feb. 7. This remains an open and active investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office and Reading Police. A full report will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
