Alleged 'Cops' Try to Gain Entry to Kitty's

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the from Wednesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday

At 7:44 a.m., police responded to a minor motor-vehicle accident on Concord Street. No injuries were reported.

At 8:25 a.m., a Main Street caller reported missing medication and a notebook computer.

At 10:51 a.m., a resident reported receiving a harassing phone call.

At 12:25 p.m., a Railroad Avenue resident reported a large raccoon following three small children. Police said the animal appeared injured, and it had to be put down.

At 1:27 p.m., police responded to a medical-aid call at a Stonecleave Road address.

At 1:41 p.m., police responded to a motor-vehicle accident at Park and Main streets.

At 7:45 p.m., police received a call reporting an active assault taking place in a green Honda traveling north on Route 28 into Andover. Police notified Andover police of the location and vehicle information.

Thursday

At 3:11 a.m., police responded to after an employee reported two males driving a gray Dodge Charger knocked on the back door and asked the employee to open the door. The men "stated they were cops," but the employee did not open the door because they did not look like police officers, police reported. The passenger of the car was described as a heavy-set white male.

At 11:55 a.m., a resident reported that her credit card was fraudulently used in various locations.

At 12:36 p.m., a resident reported receiving a harassing call on his cell phone.

At 10:26 p.m., police responded to a medical-aid call at a Stewart Road address.
