READING, MA — Chute Street is temporarily closed beginning Thursday as part of ongoing construction, according to the town.
During this closure, access to the Brande Court parking lot will be via a detour through Woburn Street.
Signs and traffic control measures will be in place to help direct drivers through the area.
The High Street improvement project is intended to "enhance roadway conditions, pedestrian accessibility, drainage infrastructure, and the overall downtown streetscape experience," according to the town.
