READING, MA — Yard waste collection begins in Reading on Monday, according to the town.
Curbside leaf collection will occur on the following weeks this fall:
- Oct. 26 to 30
- Nov. 2 to 6
- Nov. 16 to 20
- Nov. 30 to Dec. 4
Yard waste collection will occur on residents' regular pickup day.
Public Works will provide updates if there are delays in collection.
The town said that yard waste should be placed at the curb in paper bags or open barrels, sticks no thicker than 3 inches in diameter and no longer than 4 feet high/long.
Small branches should be bundled and tied. Yard waste placed in plastic bags or cardboard boxes will not be taken.
