Applications for Music Scholarship Now Being Accepted

Applications for the Reading Community Singers’ 2018 Music Scholarship are now being accepted. Reading Community Singers (RCS) provides a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving high school senior or full time undergraduate student pursuing a major or minor in music. RCS is committed to supporting the advancement of music education as a way of sharing and promoting their love for music.

Applicants must reside in Reading or a town in the surrounding area. Applications can be found on the RCS website: www.readingcommunitysingers.org/scholarship, and are due December 31, 2017. Finalists will be determined in early January and will audition in early February. The RCS Scholarship winner will be required to prepare and perform a short program at the chorus’s Spring Concert on May 5, 2018. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
