Austin Prep senior finalist for youth scholarship

A senior at Austin Preparatory School in Reading is a finalist for the U.S. Senate Youth Scholarship Program in Massachusetts.

Meghan Bodette of Andover qualified for the program by participating in the state’s Student Advisory Council. Through the council, she took the qualifying exam and scored in the top 10 students.

The program is a nationwide college scholarship program, designed to promote student leaders’ awareness, participation and interest in government.

If selected, Meghan will receive a $5,000 college scholarship and spend a week in Washington, D.C. in March.
