Austin Preparatory School in Reading is pleased to welcome three new members to its Board of Trustees.
Joseph M. Carregal is a graduate from the class of 2005. He has been an Assurance Asset Management Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston for seven years. He is also part of the company’s recruiting program, a learning and development instructor, and a community service volunteer. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed real estate salesperson. Previously, he worked at MTV Networks in New York City as an audit intern.
After graduating from Austin Prep, Carregal attended Bentley University, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and accounting. Later, he received a master’s degree in business administration from Bentley, spending a semester abroad in Ireland studying the rise in the Irish economy that resulted from the globalization of modern business, and the impact Ireland has had on the world. He currently lives in Boston.

Barbara Duncan Marchetti is a parent of a recent alumnus. She has more than 30 years of experience impacting the executive infrastructure of business and industry. An internationally known business strategist, trainer and public speaker, she has helped hundreds of companies and thousands of executives globally.
After several years in the staffing industry as a Vice President and General Manager for both national and privately held firms, she launched Preferred Resource Group, in 1991. Based out of the Boston area PRG provided customized training and strategic consulting to the staffing & recruiting industry. It is here where she gained recognition at national platforms as an innovator in the staffing industry: lecturing and training companies on how to improve productivity and ROI on their talent assets through the design and implementation of global best practices. In an effort to keep up with the demand for her knowledge and techniques, Marchetti was one of the early adapters of utilizing technology as a vehicle to provide consulting and training. Her weekly webinars expanded her bandwidth and reach to a global audience.

In 1998 she expanded into providing retained, executive search to early stage technology companies. Re-branding the company as C-suite in 2006 she opened an office in Manhattan. Marchetti is the founder and President of C-suite, Corp, a retained executive search firm which specializes in the Talent Acquisition of executives from the C-suite down to the Director levels.
In addition to helping companies identify and hire their senior talent, she has worked with and mentored recent graduates to help transition them from the classroom to the workplace including assisting with identifying career goals and interview preparation. She is often a guest speaker at Industry Associations and has served as both a mentor and speaker for the One Family Scholars program.
Marchetti received her bachelor’s degree from Colby College and completed her master’s degree in business management from Lesley College. She sat on the Advisory Board of Bullhorn Technologies (a global technology company for the staffing & recruiting industry) prior to the acquisition by a Private Equity firm. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for One Family Scholars, a comprehensive college scholarship program that breaks the cycle of poverty and family homelessness for low-income single parents. She also sits on the advisory team for Leddy Group, a privately owned regional staffing organization. A native of Andover, Marchetti currently resides in Southern New Hampshire with her husband and son, Nicholas (Austin Prep class of 2017).
Daniel Bouchard is a parent of three young Austin Prep alumni. He is a Senior Managing Director and the Business Controls Executive for the Global Markets Division of State Street Corporation where he has worked since 1997. He has held a variety of positions within the company that include Head of Business Support Services, Division Controller, Finance Manager for the Deutsche Bank Integration and Chief Administrative Officer for the Global Markets Division.
Prior to joining State Street, Bouchard worked at Mellon Bank/The Boston Company for nine years, with his last role being Chief Financial Officer of CIBC/Mellon Global Securities in Toronto, Canada. He has served on the Board of Directors of the SSGA Capital Management Trust Company and also State Street Bank and Trust Company of New Hampshire, five years of which he was President.
Bouchard has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine and is currently a member of the University of Maine Business School Advisory Board. He is active in the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund organization.
He lives in North Reading with his wife Francine and their children Isabella (Austin Prep class of 2010), Luke (Austin Prep class of 2014) and Matthew (Austin Prep class of 2015).
