Bancroft Avenue Tennis Courts Closed For Repairs

The Reading Community Tennis Courts at Bancroft Ave will be closed for the week of August 18 so the courts can be resurfaced.

The courts will take several days to dry before being reopened. The courts will be crack sealed and repainted.

Keeping sporting facilities in good repair is an important priority for Reading, town officials stated. They also apologized for any inconvenience the closing may cause, and thanked the public for their patience.

Those who wish to play tennis in Reading this week may do so at the following locations: Memorial Park (2 Courts), Washington Park (1 Court), Sturges Park (1 Court), and Barrows School (2 Courts).
